River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Crisis Service and Diagnostic Center. The role requires administering meds, crisis assessments, vital-sign monitoring, wound care, and de-escalation, across rotating 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am shifts.
Qualified candidates hold an active GA RN license with at least 2 years in behavioral health/IDD, strong computer and communication skills, and may have IDD experience preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

River Edge offers outpatient services at our Emery Highway-Macon, Monroe County and Baldwin County locations. Outpatient services include behavioral health, nursing, and psychiatric assessment, stabilization and medication maintenance services as well as crisis intervention services as well as awareness, education and recovery groups.
The Crisis Service and Diagnostic Center is a program designed to offer inpatient tailored assistance and brief (90-day) stabilization for a maximum of sixteen (16) adults aged 18 and above, who have intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or concurrent IDD/BH diagnoses. These individuals are facing psychiatric challenges and/or significant emotional/behavioral changes that are impacting their essential functions, potentially jeopardizing their ability to stay in their usual home environment.
