Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA seeks a Registered Nurse for the Crisis Service and Diagnostic Center. The role requires administering meds, crisis assessments, vital-sign monitoring, wound care, and de-escalation, across rotating 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am shifts.

Qualified candidates hold an active GA RN license with at least 2 years in behavioral health/IDD, strong computer and communication skills, and may have IDD experience preferred. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license.
• At least 2 years working in behavioral health/IDD or related field.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed in crisis facility.
• Conduct initial patient assessments during crises.
• Regularly assess and record vital signs.
• Treat and dress wounds or other health issues.
• Assist in managing and de-escalating crises.
• Ensure staff are properly trained.
