Job Description:

Job Summary:

Performs basic tasks, minor repairs, and preventative and building maintenance to ensure safe and efficient building operations. Assists maintenance mechanics in routine troubleshooting and repairs.

Responsibilities:

1. Work in compliance with all TJX best practices, safety rules, and regulations in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
2. Operate powered equipment, safety devices, or other specialized equipment safely.
3. Assist in troubleshooting, parts replacement, adjustments, and lubrication.
4. Complete all required paperwork daily and maintain a clean work environment.
5. Support maintenance mechanics in equipment repairs and installations following safety procedures.
6. Identify supplies and equipment needs.
7. Perform special projects or duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in basic preventative maintenance preferred.
• Six months to one year of experience in general maintenance.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and willingness to work various shifts to meet business needs.

Shift and Compensation:

Shift: Friday - Sunday (5:00 pm - 5:30 am) Overnight

Pay Range: $20.50 - $21.50 per hour
