Job summary

Primient is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic at its Dayton, Ohio Plant to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-quality production systems in a 365/24/7 facility. Starting pay is $36.21 per hour, with increases to $38.91 after skills evaluation, plus a $0.85 per hour shift differential and a robust benefits package.

You will perform mechanical maintenance on pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors and piping, execute precision alignments, and ensure safe, compliant operations while supporting

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience preferred in chemical industry and/or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with installation and alignment of pumps, motors, gearboxes.
• Experience rebuilding industrial pumps, compressors, gearboxes, centrifuges.
• Experience working on lubrication and filtration systems.
• Experience prefabbing threaded pipe and welded pipe.
• Passionate about safety for yourself and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties following Primient's safety procedures.
• Install machinery and equipment using hoists, lifting equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Precisely align machines using hoists, jacks, scales, micrometers and laser tools.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on pumps, gear boxes, fans, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
• Lubricate industrial equipment and perform oil changes and sampling.
• Fabricate, install, maintain piping and plumbing systems; weld, braze, cut.
