Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Lab Sciences or equivalent, 2 years of Cytotechnologist experience, and ASCP Cytotechnologist CT certification (or eligibility within 1 year).

Qualifications

• Education Bachelors Degree, Clincial Lab Sciences or equivalent (Preferred)
• Experience 2 years Cytotechnologist experience (Required)
• Ability to operate technology/equipment consistent with industry standards (Preferred)
• Working knowledge of computers (Preferred)
• Licenses and Certifications Cytotechnologist (CT) - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) (Required) or Cytotechnologist (CT) - American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) eligible to be certified within 1 Year(Required)

Responsibilities

• Performs ROSE adequacy procedures and bone marrow procedures.
• Collaborates with laboratory, hospital, pathologists and staff to meet patient needs.
• Operates and maintains equipment, reports quality control and assists training of staff/students.
• Ensures CAP, DNV and other regulatory standards compliance.
• Maintains safety and PHI/privacy compliance.
