HCA Healthcare is seeking a Cytotechnologist for Medical City Fort Worth. The role involves staining, mounting and evaluating cells to detect cancer and other abnormalities, and preparing slides for review by Cytotechnologists or Pathologists.

Responsibilities include assisting pathologists, ensuring QA standards, and maintaining documentation. A Bachelor's degree is required, along with a Florida Cytotechnologist license; CT (ASCP) certification is preferred, with 1–3 years of experience

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required for Cytotechnologist position.
• Florida Cytotechnologist license required at time of hire.
• C.T. (ASCP) certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred in cytology.

Responsabilidades

• Stains, mounts and studies cells to detect cancer, hormonal abnormalities, and other conditions.
• Prepare microscopic slides and fix stains to preserve specimens.
• Assist pathologists by preparing samples for reading or review.
• Provide data to assist in pathology reports and ensure QA compliance.

Educación

Bachelor’s Degree required

Florida License Cytotechnologist required

C.T. (ASCP) preferred

1 to 3 years preferred
