Qualifications

• Must be registered as Cytotechnologist CT-ASCP or CT-IAC registration

Responsibilities

• Screens Pap smears and non-gynecological slides and reports results per protocol.
• Reviews patient history with screening cytology slides.
• Documents workload and submits weekly reports; reviews discrepant cases with Pathologist.
• Maintains FNP 1-2% of lab average, not exceeding 5% overall.
• Maintains 80-100% Diagnostic Correlation with Pathologist.
• Maintains gyn statistical analysis rates of 5% of lab rates.
• Fulfills workload limits as set by supervisor.
• Completes special assignments timely and professionally.
• Assists with FNA adequacy assessments across hospital areas.
