Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Cytotechnologist to examine cells on glass slides to detect evidence of diseased conditions and pre-malignant and malignant cells. Daily duties include reviewing gynecological and non-gynecological slides following protocol.

The role requires accurate data recording, QA/QC participation, instrument maintenance, and adherence to privacy, security, and corporate policies while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Examines gynecological and non-gynecological slides daily per protocols.
• Records findings in the computer system.
• Logs daily screening and departmental data.
• Identifies and corrects issues affecting test performance.
• Communicates issues to supervisor or manager.
• Performs instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Contributes to QA/QC documentation and monitoring.
• Meets productivity expectations per department guidelines.
• Follows safety precautions and lab procedures.
• Adheres to privacy, security and data policies.
• Familiar with Corporate Compliance and policies.
