Job summary

A regional healthcare provider in Pennsylvania seeks a Cytotechnologist to demonstrate technical skills in cytology processing, preparation, and staining. The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree, preferably a Bachelor's, and must be ASCP registered within one year of hire. Qualifications

• Graduate from an ABHES accredited school of cytotechnology or meeting CAP qualifications.
• Must obtain ASCP registration within 1 year of hire.
• 1-2 years' experience as a Cytotechnologist required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates technical skill in cytology processing, preparation and staining.
• Assists in specimen collection as requested.
• Screens an average of 40-80 slides per day.
