The position requires a BS in Cytotechnology or Life Sciences with a Cytology program, and ASCP CT certification or eligibility. Training and collaboration with a large care network are offered.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Cytotechnology or Life Sciences with approved Cytology program
• ASCP (CT) certification or eligible to sit for exam
• Cytology knowledge and understanding of QA processes
• Experience with cytopreparations and slide preparation preferred
• No years of experience required (minimum education-focused)

Responsibilities

• Provide microscopic evaluation and interpret cytology specimens
• Assist with cytopreparations and FNA collections as needed
• Enter final results into the computer and report to pathologist
• Maintain QA data and assist with procedure development
• Train new personnel and evaluate new equipment
