Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Cytoprep Technician III for a night shift in West Hills, CA. The role involves accessioning, processing Non-Gyn specimens and Surepath, staining, and quality control. You will collaborate with the Cytology Prep Team Leader to ensure accuracy and safety on a fast-paced lab floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
• Current state licensure, if applicable (Required).
• 3 years of Anatomic Pathology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accessions and processes Non-Gyn specimens and/or Surepath specimens for microscopic evaluation.
• Run the stainers, change reagents, and coverslipping.
• Prepare specimens for CT/NG testing and render gross descriptions.
• Maintain inventories and order supplies; follow safety policies.
• Train new Cytoprep technicians in preparation techniques.
• Identify TIQ’s and problem specimens; ensure proper labeling and data entry.
