Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Current state licensure, if applicable (Required).

Responsibilities

• Accessions and processes Non-Gyn specimens and/or Surepath specimens for microscopic evaluation.
• Assign accession numbers and perform Thin Prep and Surepath processing.
• Run stainers, change reagents, and coverslip.
• Prepare specimens for CT/NG testing.
• Maintain inventories and ensure supplies are ordered.
• Enter data accurately and follow safety policies and logs.
• Train new Cytoprep techs and label biohazard waste appropriately.
• Collaborate with departments and colleagues to resolve issues.
