Job summary

MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Medical Technician II in Cytopathology to support cancer diagnostics. You will handle Cytology specimens, assist with FNA triage, and perform technical procedures such as cell block preparation and density gradient work. The role includes QC responsibilities and instrument maintenance in a high‑volume lab.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's Degree Basic sciences.
• May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.

Responsibilities

• Accession and process Cytology specimens per procedures; assist in procurement and triage of FNA samples.
• Perform cell block preparations, cell transfer and density gradient preparations for lymphoma marker studies.
• Prepare reagents, set up stain hood, assist with equipment maintenance.
