Qualifications

• H.S Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow cytology procedures and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and stains gyn and non-gyn cytology specimens.
• Utilizes the Cerebro labeling system for slide and specimen labeling.
• Maintains Cytology instrumentation and performs routine instrument maintenance.
• Assists cytotechnologist and assigns/distributes cases to pathologists as needed.
• Promotes patient safety by following organizational policies and procedures.
