Job summary

COREPATH Laboratories / SigmaCore LLC is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist specialized in Cytogenetics FISH. The on-site role requires熟 skilled interpretation of FISH results, thorough documentation, and collaboration with the Cytogenic FISH team to meet turnaround targets.

The successful candidate will perform FISH testing, report results in LIS, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, chemical sciences, physical sciences, medical laboratory science or closely related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in cytogenetics, including FISH analysis.
• ASCP-CG or equivalent certification, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform FISH analysis using automated imaging systems or manual microscopy.
• Review FISH prep, signal patterns and internal controls.
• Interpret FISH results and assign ISCN nomenclature.
• Generate FISH reports in LIS and document results accurately.
• Maintain QA, GLP standards and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with staff and supervisor to ensure timely turnaround.
