Job summary

LSU New Orleans seeks a skilled data analyst to manage and interpret maternal and child health data from NSCH and other sources. The role includes building dashboards for CYSHCN, preparing annual data summaries, and contributing to public-facing reports and GIS maps.

You will ensure data confidentiality, support grant reporting, and collaborate with program staff to drive data-informed health initiatives with federal and state partners.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree with 3 years of professional experience, or 6 years of professional work experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience performing administrative functions within office or health care settings.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze maternal and child health data across registries and surveys.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and data summaries for CYSHCN and NSCH.
• Prepare data sections for grant proposals and annual state plans.
• Support data confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to translate data into action.
• Assist in creating reports, webinars, and publications.
