Job summary

Fleet and Family Support Center Lemoore is seeking a CYP Training & Content Specialist to lead DoD certification programs and coordinate staff development across Navy CYP facilities.

The role focuses on delivering comprehensive training, developing curricula, and guiding professionals to meet accreditation standards while promoting continuous education and professional growth within the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in child development or early childhood education with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of DoD certification, accreditation, and CDA/MSA credentials.
• Ability to design and deliver staff training programs.
• Experience training adult learners and conducting workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate training to maintain DoD certification and national accreditation.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for CYP staff.
• Identify training needs and tailor plans to learner needs.
• Collaborate with CYP Directors to schedule learning opportunities.
• Ensure training records and development plans are maintained.
• Support inclusion and accommodations for children with special needs.
• Assist FCC with training supports and accreditation goals.
• Ensure classroom compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
