The CYP T&C Specialist supports comprehensive staff training and monitors developmentally appropriate curriculum for ages 6 weeks through 18 years. This role also promotes career and education opportunities for professional growth within the CYP program.

The qualified candidate will have knowledge of DoD certification standards, SAC/YP accreditation, and the ability to guide CYP professionals while ensuring compliance with Federal and State laws on child welfare.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or higher degree in child development or early childhood education with three years of full-time experience with children or youth
• Knowledge of early childhood or youth education principles to develop and monitor curriculum and activities
• Knowledge of adult learning techniques and experience training adults
• Knowledge of Federal and State laws governing child abuse prevention
• Knowledge of DoD certification standards and SAC/YP accreditation criteria
• Skill in planning, organizing, and implementing programs
• Ability to develop curriculum outlines, lesson plans, and conduct training workshops
• Ability to support DoD certification, accreditation, and staff credentialing (CDA, MSA) by ensuring required training is administered
