Job summary

Navy Region Southwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a CYP T&C Specialist to lead staff training, monitor curriculum development for ages 6 weeks through 18 years, and promote professional growth opportunities for employees.

Responsibilities include coordinating DoD-certified training, ensuring compliance with child care policies, and supporting accreditation efforts across CYP programs on the installation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in child development or early childhood education with three years of experience working with children and/or youth.
• Knowledge of DoD certification criteria and accreditation processes for CYP programs.
• Experience training adult learners and developing lesson plans/workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead in developing and delivering a comprehensive training program for CYP staff.
• Coordinate with CYP Directors to plan training and ensure staff are scheduled for required learning.
• Assist FCC directors and providers to achieve accreditation and maintain certifications.
