Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a Food Service Worker to support Child and Youth Programs (CYP) across CDC and SAC sites. The role focuses on safe food prep, assembling meals, and transporting items to classrooms with strong adherence to sanitation rules.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic math skills, and the ability to communicate in English. Training on CACFP requirements ensures compliance with child-care meal standards across locations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation including peeling potatoes and washing vegetables.
• Stock carts with utensils, plates, and beverages for family style dining.
• Wrap, arrange, and package items for serving to children and youth.
• Transport food from kitchen to classrooms.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and serving areas.
• Follow safety, security, and CACFP guidelines.
• Report safety concerns and maintain cleanliness.
