Job summary

Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a dedicated CYP Assistant to engage and supervise children and youth, helping them develop social skills, healthy habits, and resilience while participating in age-appropriate activities.

You will support curriculum planning, supervise indoor/outdoor activities, communicate with parents and staff, and ensure safety according to DoD standards; prior childcare experience and a HS diploma are required, with background checks and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass all required DoD and local training and background checks.
• Background checks, pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Undergo pre-employment physicals and immunizations as required.

Responsibilities

• Engage and supervise children and youth in the CYP program.
• Assist in curriculum planning and activity development.
• Maintain safety and supervision during indoor/outdoor activities and field trips.
• Communicate with parents and staff about child progress and program activities.
• Ensure compliance with DoD and installation policies.
