Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Cylinder Maintenance Technician in Nashville, TN at our Whites Creek facility. You will rehab and repair liquid cylinders, follow strict LCR procedures, and help maintain inventory and tools while ensuring safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Pre-employment and random drug testing, physical and background screen applies.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn those skills.
• Able to understand piping and tank detail from manuals and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with cryogenic gases and systems, high pressure piping/tubing work a plus.
• HVAC or plumbing industry with welding/brazing skill a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rehabilitate and repair Liquid Cylinder tanks at the Whites Creek facility.
• Receive, inspect, and prep cylinders for service.
• Perform NER testing, polishing, and decal installation for shipping.
• Follow LCR rehab manuals and safety procedures; maintain shop tools and inventory.
• Conduct safety-related tasks, and report issues to supervisors promptly.
• Assist with warehouse, forklift, and general site duties as needed.
