Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Fargo, ND is seeking a Cylinder Processor to safely process medical and industrial gas cylinders on 1st shift, following established plant guidelines.

You will inspect cylinders, determine retest or repairs, and ensure accurate handling of products. The role involves loading and unloading, operating cylinder scales, preparing transfer orders, and entering data into the computer to maintain inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background preferred.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders following established plant guidelines and procedures.
• Perform cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill as needed; load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork; enter quantities, styles and products into the computer to justify stock inventory.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and governmental procedures; operate forklift and other plant vehicles.
