The role requires 1+ year of manufacturing experience, a strong mechanical background, and good leadership, communication, and organizational skills. This is a first-shift position with competitive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background is preferred.
• Candidates must demonstrate leadership, problem solving, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders following plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections by visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles and products; fill as needed and load/unload for shipment.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and related equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and record quantities in the computer for inventory tracking.
• Operate forklift and other plant vehicles in a safe manner.
