Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a Warehouse/Plant Associate in Bethlehem, PA to handle gas cylinders following established guidelines. You will perform inspections, verify quantities and product types, and assist with loading and unloading from the weekly shuttle.

You should have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year manufacturing experience; a mechanical background and strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills are valued. On-site work with forklift operation and QA paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in plant/manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill any necessary product. Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and products filled in order to justify the stock inventory.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and Governmental procedures, and operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles.
