Job summary

Linde plc in Fargo, ND is seeking a motivated plant operator to process medical and industrial gas cylinders following established guidelines. You will inspect cylinders, determine retest or repair needs, and ensure safe, accurate filling and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma and 1+ year of plant or manufacturing experience; a mechanical background is a plus. You will also operate forklift and related equipment, manage warehouse transfers, and contribute to quality control

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical background is a plus.
• Must have strong leadership, problem solving, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs via visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles and product; fill as needed; load/unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and related equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and paperwork; input quantities/styles/products into computer for stock accuracy.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation per company and governmental procedures; operate forklift and other plant vehicles.
