Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Ability to clearly write and fill out a report in English.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and safety data sheets in English.
• Ability to perform arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Ability to read pressure and temperature indicators.
• Ability to move gas cylinders.
• Teamwork and problem solving in a shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort and evaluate incoming gas cylinders.
• Move cylinders to designated processing areas.
• Scrape labels from cylinders.
• Paint and apply coating to cylinders.
• Perform visual inspection of gas cylinders.
• Install new cylinder valves in various cylinder types.
• Operate pumps, dryers, bake-out systems and manifolds.
• Maintain inventory and allocate cylinders to orders.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Support Health, Safety and ISO Quality programs.
