Job summary

Airgas Davenport, IA is hiring a Plant Operator (Cylinder Loader/Filler) to safely fill gas products into liquid, medical and high‑pressure cylinders in compliance with regulations. You'll operate control panels, pallet jacks, maintain accurate production records, and help meet safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and at least 1 year of related experience. SAP familiarity and MS Office/Google Suite are preferred; training will emphasize Airgas

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Mechanical aptitude and adherence to safety procedures.
At least 1 year of related technical experience; equivalent education accepted.

Responsibilities

Safely handling and filling gas products into cylinders in compliance with regulations and procedures.
Perform cylinder analyses and ensure alignment with government and company standards.
Calculate gas mixtures and document results to meet quality standards.
Operate control panels, valves, gauges, and scales with precision for gas mixtures.
Record production actions accurately and maintain safety records.
Safely operate forklift and pallet jack; load/unload cylinders onto/off pallets.
