Job summary

Airgas is hiring a Production Associate (Cylinder Filler) for the Harrisburg, PA plant. The role involves verifying cylinders, preparing, filling, and labeling high-pressure cylinders, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Prior ERP/SAP familiarity is a plus, with strong math and measurement skills. The position offers a 2nd shift (4pm-12:30am), a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, vacation and sick time, parental leave, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read gauges and labels.

Responsibilities

• Review cylinders prior to filling to meet standards.
• Prepare high pressure cylinders and cryogenic vessels for filling.
• Attach to manifold and evacuate cylinders for quality.
• Fill cylinders by pressure and weight per regulations.
• Assist with loading/unloading cylinders and operate warehouse equipment.
• Maintain records to DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards.
