Job summary

The Hershey Company is hiring a Cycle Counter at our KS hub in Edgerton to support warehouse inventory and order fulfillment. The role requires accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work Monday through Friday in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $21.65 per hour with potential overtime and benefits including a 401(k) match, Paid Time Off, and a $500 referral bonus. You will commute to Edgerton, Lawrence, and Lenexa as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidate must have valid work authorization in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Completes cycle counting either as scheduled or as requested by the warehouse manager.
• Checks inventory levels on packaged and raw materials as requested.
• Manages specific inventory locations to ensure inventory is accurate.
• Ensures warehouse space is utilized effectively and the environment remains clean and safe.
• Reports inventory that is near shelf life to prevent obsolescence.
• Suggests movement of product locations to maintain efficient warehousing.
• Performs duties according to safety, quality, and SOPs.
• Attends required meetings and training and participates in constructive discussion.
• Follows all safety rules and company policies and procedures.
• Maintains professional conduct around customers and the community.
• Proactively seeks available company-sponsored training to develop skills.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
