Job summary

KeHE Distributors in Portland, OR is seeking a Cycle Counter to ensure inventory accuracy in a high-volume distribution center. You will execute cycle counts, navigate WMS systems, and collaborate with leadership to resolve variances while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and reliability.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, some warehouse experience, and is comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Some experience in warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment preferred; motivated candidates with no prior experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled and walk-off counts on assigned locations, sustaining a count accuracy standard of 98% or greater.
• Navigate WMS (NTS) to create, view, and manage cycle count batches, self-initiating counts and identifying, root-causing, and correcting variances without reliance on leadership direction; escalating systemic discrepancies to IC leadership as appropriate.
• Develop working knowledge of warehouse processes across supporting departments to understand how inventory accuracy impacts the broader operation.
• Engage with the Sr. Cycle Counter as primary mentor and resource during onboarding and beyond.
• Participate in regular check-ins with the DC IC Manager and contribute to a culture of accountability, interoperability, and empathy.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
