Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Cycle Counter for our Tar Heel NC Distribution Center to join a team dedicated to accurate inventory management.

This onsite role involves daily, weekly, and quarterly cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and documenting variances while maintaining safety standards. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and preferred experience in a distribution center, with proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of distribution center experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Previous cycle counting experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and quarterly cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Compile lists of items to be counted and conduct physical inventories.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
• Use RF guns and PIT equipment to count and investigate variances.
• Maintain safety procedures and work environment in the DC.
