Job summary

Smithfield Foods in North Carolina is seeking a Cycle Counter to ensure accurate inventory in the distribution center. You will perform daily, weekly, and quarterly counts and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain stock integrity.

You will use RF guns and PIT equipment, enter transactions in the warehouse management system, and follow all safety procedures while supporting ongoing distribution operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years in a distribution center preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with WMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile items to be counted and conduct counts.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and analyze variances.
• Record inventory transactions in the system.
• Operate PIT equipment and RF guns for counting.
• Follow safety procedures in all tasks.
