Electronic Power Design in Georgia is seeking a detail-oriented Cycle Counter to maintain inventory accuracy and support our supply chain operations. You will perform daily cycle counts, validate part data, and promote FIFO practices throughout the warehouse.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of warehouse or inventory experience.
  • 1+ year of cycle counting or inventory control experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and inventory transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Validate part labels, descriptions, measurements, and units of measure.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
  • Document inventory adjustments and assign error codes for corrective action.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP systems.
  • Organize inventory locations to support FIFO practices and efficient material flow.
  • Inspect materials for damage or mislabeling and storage concerns.
  • Monitor slow-moving inventory and report findings to Supply Chain leadership.
  • Support warehouse organization and inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Assist with annual physical inventories and inventory audits.
  • Utilize ERP systems and RF scanners to track inventory activity and part history.
  • Compile inventory reports and communicate discrepancies to management.
  • Review purchase order and receipt information when investigating inventory issues.
  • Track inventory trends and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support inventory accuracy reporting and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Partner with Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Participate in inventory review meetings and process improvement discussions.
  • Support training initiatives during inventory activities and audits.
  • Contribute recommendations that improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Help maintain organized and accessible inventory locations.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and material handling equipment safely.
  • Follow company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support compliance with inventory control and audit requirements.
  • Promote safe handling and storage of materials.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cycle Counter to help maintain inventory accuracy and support EPD’s supply chain operations. This role is responsible for conducting inventory counts, validating part information, investigating discrepancies, and promoting FIFO inventory practices throughout the warehouse.

What You’ll Do
Inventory Accuracy & Control
  • Conduct daily cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Validate part labels, descriptions, measurements, and units of measure.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
  • Document inventory adjustments and assign error codes for corrective action.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP systems.
Warehouse Organization & Material Management
  • Organize inventory locations to support FIFO practices and efficient material flow.
  • Inspect materials for damage, deterioration, mislabeling, or storage concerns.
  • Monitor slow-moving inventory and report findings to Supply Chain leadership.
  • Support warehouse organization and inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Assist with annual physical inventories and inventory audits.

Utilize ERP systems and RF scanners to track inventory activity and part history.

  • Compile inventory reports and communicate discrepancies to management.

** Physical Requirements**

Ability to stand for 8+ hours while performing inventory counting, audits, and warehouse activities.

  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and changing warehouse conditions.
  • Ability to move throughout warehouse, inventory storage, and production areas as needed.
  • Ability to maintain focus and accuracy while performing repetitive inventory counting and verification tasks.
  • Ability to problem-solve in fast-paced operational environments.
  • Ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
** Preferred Qualifications**

High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Forklift Certification.
  • Experience with Global Shop Solutions (GSS).
  • Experience using RF scanners and warehouse technology.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial warehouse environments.
