Job summary

PJ Trailers Inc. seeks an entry-level Cycle Counter for the Sumner, TX facility. The role focuses on cycle counts, audits, and reconciling inventory discrepancies, supporting the Purchasing & Inventory teams, and assisting with inventory related tasks.

The position runs a 6am-4:30pm shift, Monday-Thursday, with overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays. The incumbent may operate equipment and must be prepared to obtain equipment certification as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
• Ability to recognize and read location codes, date codes and product codes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Identify problematic inventory records/transactions and ensure balances are accurate.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Conduct audits of inbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to operations regarding inventory issues.
• May be required to operate equipment and be equipment certified.

We seek an additional cycle counter for our Sumner Texas Facility. This position is responsible for conducting cycle counts and audits, assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies and assisting the Purchasing & Inventory Teams in any inventory related functions. This position will work a scheduled shift of 6am-430pm, Monday through Thursday. Overtime Friday and/or Saturday.

Essential Job Functions

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits
• Identify problematic inventory records/transactions, ensure inventory balances are accurately maintained in all systems
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed
• Conduct audits of inbound shipments
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary
• Provide floor support to operation team regarding inventory issues
• Depending on location, employee may be required to operate equipment and may be required to be equipment certified
