Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Alabama is seeking a Cycle Counter to join our on-site warehouse team. The role focuses on periodic and accurate inventory counts to ensure orders are on time and complete.

The shift runs Friday through Monday with 6:00am-4:30pm Friday-Saturday and 5:00pm-3:30am Sunday-Monday; pay is $21.50 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential, plus full benefits and growth opportunities. Requirements include a high school diploma and up to 6 months warehousing experience; we offer

Role Purpose

Responsible for the periodic and accurate counting of inventory to help control errors and will ensure that customer orders are on time and complete

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.
• Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
• Research shipping errors and complete validation. Check for product recalls.
• Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience, preferred
