Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for an Inventory Control role. The position involves counting and reconciling inventories, verifying inbound and outbound product, and ensuring orders match specifications. The shift runs Monday–Friday from 3:10pm to 11:10pm with a base pay of $18.45 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.

This role requires following established procedures, reporting findings to management, and supporting site performance with accurate counts and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify and reconcile inventories for the customer, suppliers, and DHL.
• Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports.
• Follow established inventory control procedures, safety rules, and work instructions.
• Communicate inventory issues, progress updates, and findings clearly to management.
• Research inventory location problems and shipping errors; validate discrepancies.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for the periodic and accurate counting of inventory to help control errors and will ensure that customer orders are on time and complete

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.
• Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
• Research shipping errors and complete validation. Check for product recalls.
• Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience, preferred
