Job summary

Ranpak in Concord Township, OH is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to support cycle counting, verification in WMS/ERP, and data entry for adjustments. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1+ year in inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
• Ability to analyze inventory data and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with ERP or WMS is preferred; forklift certification a plus.

Shift: First Shift (Day Shift)

Department: Warehouse / Inventory Control

Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor or Inventory Control Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials.
• Verify inventory quantities and locations within the warehouse management system (WMS) and ERP systems.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by researching transactions, movements, and documentation.
• Analyze inventory variances and communicate findings to management.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform data entry related to inventory adjustments.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse personnel to ensure proper inventory handling and storage practices.
• Assist with physical inventories and year-end inventory audits.
• Monitor inventory transactions to identify process improvements that enhance inventory accuracy.
• Ensure products are properly labeled and stored in designated warehouse locations.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Support warehouse operations as needed, including material handling and inventory-related projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse, or related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze inventory data.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
• Manufacturing or distribution environment experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.

Schedule

• First Shift

• Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required based on business needs.
