Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in California is hiring a Cycle Counter to ensure accurate inventory through regular counting, reconcile discrepancies, and support inbound and outbound operations. The role requires 1 year of warehousing experience and handling order picker, reach truck, and dock stocker tasks.

You will work 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, earning $22.50 per hour. DHL offers benefits starting on day 30, paid time off, a strong 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, and ample training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count inventory accurately for inbound/outbound to control errors.
• Ensure orders match customer specifications and labeling.
• Research inventory location problems and discrepancies.
• Research shipping errors and validate data; note recalls if any.
• Assist with lift operator tasks and other duties as assigned.

The core responsibilities of this role include: Assist with inbound spills. Correct inventory location issues and organize product in designated warehouse locations. Complete Costco reworks according to customer requirements (Reworks). Support special projects as assigned. Backup Responsibilities: Perform daily cycle counts of corrugated products. Perform cycle counts of feedstock to investigate discrepancies on production lines. Reconcile inventory for completed production lines. Make inventory adjustments and correct lot codes or batches as needed, following established procedures. Return overstock from production lines to the main warehouse. Clear damaged stock from production lines. Operate a stand-up forklift. Unload corrugate trailers as needed. Assist with adding and removing QA holds according to established procedures and authorization requirements. Additional Expectations: Work overtime as needed. Attend team meetings. REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 1 years’ experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker as well as Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the periodic and accurate counting of inventory to help control errors and will ensure that customer orders are on time and complete

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.
• Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
• Research shipping errors and complete validation. Check for product recalls.
• Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience, preferred
