Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a 2nd shift inventory specialist. The role focuses on counting, reconciling, and maintaining accurate stock levels across inbound and outbound processes.

You will operate dock stocker, sit-down, and cherry picker forklifts and ensure updates in the warehouse management system are correct. The position is 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3pm–11:30pm) with a $21.50 hourly pay plus a $1.00 shift premium.

Qualifications

• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience preferred.
• 1 year or more warehouse inventory experience.
• Experience operating dock stocker, sit-down and cherry picker forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Verify and reconcile inventories for customer, suppliers, and DHL.
• Complete physical inventories and analyze reports.
• Maintain inventory records and updates in the WMS.
• Process adjustments for overages, shorts, damaged items.
• Support daily inventory management activities for stock accuracy.
• Investigate inventory location problems and shipping errors.

The core responsibilities of this role include:
Verify and reconcile inventories of the customer, their suppliers, and of DHL. Complete physical inventories and compile/analyze reports. Perform root cause analysis investigations using strong research and interviewing skills. Maintain accurate and up to date inventory records in alignment with site procedures. Ensure all inventory entries, updates, and adjustments are correctly reflected in the warehouse management system. Complete daily inventory management activities to support accurate stock levels and operational reporting. Process inventory adjustments for overages, shorts, damaged, or defective product in accordance with policy.
Position: 2nd shift
Shift: Monday - Friday / 3pm to 11:30 pm
Pay: $21.50 / Plus $1.00 shift preimum for working 2nd shift
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:

• 1 year or more warehouse inventory experience
• 1year or more experience on dock stocker, sit down, and Cherry picker forklift.
• 1year or more cycle counting experience, making adjustments, damaging out SKU's in system.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for the periodic and accurate counting of inventory to help control errors and will ensure that customer orders are on time and complete

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.
• Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
• Research shipping errors and complete validation. Check for product recalls.
• Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience, preferred
