Job summary

ETE REMAN, the largest independent aftermarket automatic transmission remanufacturer in the United States, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a Cycle Counter to maintain inventory accuracy across ERP and physical counts. You will set up counts, execute cycles, review discrepancies, and report on inventory integrity within a fast-paced team environment.

Ideal candidates will be proficient in Microsoft Office, have experience with ERP systems and barcode scanning, and be comfortable

Qualifications

• Computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems and barcode scanning.
• Ability to drive a forklift and become certified.
• 18+ years old; high school diploma preferred; detail oriented; automotive/mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Willingness to work in environments with chemicals and dirty conditions.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Set up daily cycle counts in our ERP.
• Use the system to execute the cycle count daily.
• Review discrepancies and perform re-counts when counts are out of tolerance.
• Conduct physical inventory when required.
• Report inventory accuracy in daily standup meetings.
• Help ensure products and shelves are properly labeled.
• Analyze cycle count errors to find root causes and drive solutions.
• Liaise with ERP team to share data and assist with corrections and solutions.

Job Overview:

As a Cycle Counter, you will be responsible for inventory accuracy – making sure that the physical inventory quantities and locations match with the records in our ERP system at all times and help to resolve problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setup daily cycle counts in our ERP;
• Use the system to execute the cycle count daily;
• Review discrepancies and perform re-counts when counts are out of tolerance;
• Conduct Physical Inventory when required;
• Report on the inventory accuracy in the daily standup meetings;
• Help to make sure all products and shelves are labeled properly;
• Analyze cycle count error to find root causes;
• Help to drive solutions to root causes of cycle count errors;
• Liaison with ERP team to share data and collaborate on corrections and solutioning;
• Ad hoc inventory reporting as needed;
• Support safety rules and engage in safety observation process;
• Be an active member of the shipping team;

Qualifications:

• Computer literate, strong communication and good math skills, able to work with Microsoft Office
• Experience working with ERP systems and barcode scanning
• Ability to drive a forklift and become certified
• Must be 18 years old, high school diploma preferred, detail oriented, automotive/mechanical ability a plus
• Willingness and understanding you will get dirty at times, and may have to work with chemicals
• Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, communication and decision-making skills
• Self-starting and motivated; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help others
• Adhere to all safety rules, give it your all every day, must have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
