Overview
The basic function of the Inventory Analyst is to assure inventory accuracy through inventory counts and analysis, resolving of shipping and receiving issues and assistance in material organization, process improvements / audits.
Responsibilities
- Count and Reconcile negative inventory items.
- Count and reconcile inventory control items.
- Manage cycle counts for specific areas
- Complete and maintain count research files
- Report cycle count results to planners and management
- Run SQL statements for data export and analysis
- Set up and audit transaction procedures
- Support annual and mini physical inventory counts
- Research shipping and receiving issues
- Assist in Material Flow / Organization project as needed
- Outline and Implement Actions needed to insure count and data integrity improvement
Technical/Professional Knowledge/Training and Skills
- PC Based programs such as SQL and Oracle ERP System
- Word, Excel and Power Point
- 2-3 years in a Materials Position.
Education/Certifications
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
Required Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of inventory control, Material flow, transaction accuracy
- Understand the basics of shipping and receiving functionality within oracle and upstream AP Effects.
- Must comply with all Environmental and Management Systems (EMS) policies and procedures.
