Job summary

NFI in Fargo, ND is seeking a Cycle Counter to perform continuous cycle counts of inventory and resolve discrepancies by researching data and following established controls.

The role requires forklift operation, strong mathematics and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently, including weekends or extended hours as needed.

You will maintain records, communicate findings, and support inventory procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Must have experience operating a forklift.
  • Computer applications experience using MS Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must be able to follow policies and safety procedures.
  • Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.
  • Performs duties as instructed by management.
  • Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time.

Job description

Cycle Counter position is responsible for continuous cycle counts of inventory in a timely manner while on feet. The Cycle Counter researches for all data available to resolve discrepancies and adheres to proper inventory control and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate cycle count finding to those responsible for inventory
