Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Cycle Counter to support inventory accuracy at our facility. The role covers cycle counting, discrepancy research, and updating the system to maintain inventory integrity.

The position is on the 2nd shift (Monday–Thursday, 4:00pm–2:00am) with a pay of $20.00 per hour and an additional $1.00 shift differential. Preferred candidates have stand-up dock stocker and reach truck experience, with knowledge of WMS systems such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, or SAP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months warehousing/material handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic inventory counting to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct cycle counts and research discrepancies to maintain inventory integrity.
• Support inbound/outbound processes and ensure product is accurately counted and labeled.
• Investigate inventory location problems and shipping errors; validate data in the system.
• Assist with lift operator tasks as needed.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate may also possess the following skills and/or experience: First preference will be given to those with stand-up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus. A minimum of 6 month's experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP is preferred.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the periodic and accurate counting of inventory to help control errors and will ensure that customer orders are on time and complete

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.
• Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
• Research shipping errors and complete validation. Check for product recalls.
• Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience, preferred
