Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Alabama is seeking a Cycle Counter for the 3rd shift to support inventory accuracy and daily control. You will perform cycle counts, research discrepancies, and ensure system updates reflect inventory, enabling on-time customer orders.

The role requires 6 months warehousing experience and familiarity with material handling equipment and WMS like Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA or SAP. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience
• Experience operating material handling equipment and WMS knowledge (Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP) preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for inbound and outbound freight and ensuring product is free of damage and proper production date recording.
• Ensure quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders matches customer specifications.
• Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
• Research shipping errors and complete validation; check for product recalls.
• Assist with lift operator tasks in inbound, picking, outbound areas as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned

The core responsibilities is to supports inventory accuracy and daily inventory control operations within the facility. This role is responsible for completing cycle count activities, researching discrepancies, and ensuring accurate system updates to maintain inventory integrity.

Position: Cycle Counter
Shift: 3rd Shift Monday - Thursday 10:00pm - 8:00am
Pay: $20.00

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate may also possess the following skills and/or experience: First preference will be given to those with stand‑up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit‑down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus. A minimum of 6 month’s experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder, Red Prairie, JDA, SAP is preferred.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the periodic and accurate counting of inventory to help control errors and will ensure that customer orders are on time and complete

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for the accurate checking or counting of all product for both inbound and outbound freight and for ensuring all product is free of damage and infestation and production code dates are properly recorded.
• Ensure the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders corresponds to customer specifications and/or other requirements.
• Research all inventory location problems (mystery pallets, inventory errors, etc.).
• Research shipping errors and complete validation. Check for product recalls.
• Responsible for any areas (including inbounds, picking, outbounds, etc.) requiring additional lift operator-related task assistance.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• 6 months warehousing/material handling experience, preferred
