Job summary

Elevate Human Capital is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter for a client in the Houston area. This on-site hourly position supports daily cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods within an ERP system.

The role requires forklift operation, cycle counting experience, and attention to inventory accuracy. Flexibility for overtime and peak periods is expected; bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; warehouse/distribution experience may be considered in lieu.
• Previous inventory cycle counting experience required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

Responsibilities

• Follow all established company policies, procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Verify product quantities and quality to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Confirm that inventory transfers, put-aways, and stock movements are accurately recorded physically and electronically.
• Utilize handheld scanning devices and inventory reports to track and validate inventory transactions.
• Work safely and efficiently while handling inventory throughout the facility.
• Participate in problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Support operational demands by working overtime when required.
• Process inventory transactions and material movements within the ERP system.
• Move materials, including chemicals and other products, using forklifts and reach trucks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
