Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a Cyberspace Analyst to support a 24/7/365 watch floor and unifying cyberspace operations for a key DoD client at Fort Meade, MD. The role focuses on defending critical infrastructure and leading contract personnel in a cyber/military environment.Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph; 2 years relevant experience with a Bachelor or 6 years with a HS diploma; the contract may adjust shifts to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead technical expert for Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR).
  • Serve as the task lead and first line supervisor of contract personnel assigned to duties supporting CIKR.
  • Develop and be responsible for accurate processes and procedures supporting the customer’s CIKR priorities.
  • Provide initial and continuing training to ensure that contract personnel assigned to support CIKR maintain requisite knowledge and skills to keep pace with customer expectations.
  • Work with other governmental partners in support of cyberspace operations.

Job Description

Our Cyber & Intelligence team is at the forefront of multi-domain operations, anticipating emerging threats, and shaping the future of national defense. Our cyber professionals operate on the cutting edge of cyberspace, delivering strategic effects and operational options in a dynamic threat landscape.

The Cyberspace Analyst supports 24/7/365 watch floor operations.

We are currently seeking a Cyberspace Analyst to support a new initiative with one of our key clients. This effort focuses on unifying the strategic direction of cyberspace operations, enhancing the Department of Defense’s cyber capabilities, and integrating cyber expertise across the DoD enterprise.

This contract supports ongoing operations within a combatant command. During periods of conflict, crisis, or other significant operational shifts, mission requirements may change rapidly. Additionally, when staffing adjustments occur, work schedules may need to be modified to maintain essential coverage.

Accordingly, work shifts may be adjusted based on customer requirements.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as the lead technical expert for Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR).

  • Develop and be responsible for accurate processes and procedures supporting the customer’s CIKR priorities
  • Provide initial and continuing training to ensure that contract personnel assigned to support CIKR maintain requisite knowledge and skills to keep pace with customer expectations
  • Work with other governmental partners in support of cyberspace operations

Furthermore, the applicant must demonstrate a history of leading teams in a similar capacity in a cyber or military operational environment.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.

Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration.

Preferred Requirements
  • Performing research and analysis of cybersecurity capabilities to satisfy data protection requirements.
  • Reporting and presenting intelligence and information to others.
  • Demonstrating expertise on the lifecycle of the network threats, attack vectors and methods of exploitation, the utilization, configuration, and implementation of industry capabilities including web content filters, email security.
  • Coordination and support on cyber-related incidents and issues to include Malware Analysis Reports, Alerts regarding potential malicious activity, and Suspicious Contact Reports.
  • Engaging with FCC or DIB on network protection.
