Job summary

Infinity Systems Engineering is seeking a Cyber Security Systems Engineer to support cybersecurity assessments, hardening of DoD systems, and RMF compliance. You will contribute to risk-based decision making, develop COAs, and ensure system resilience for space and ground segments.

The role requires DoD 8140/8570 IAT II certification, 4–8 years’ DISA/STIG/ACAS experience, and a Secret clearance (TS/SCI desired). Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience with DISA STIGs, SCC and SCAP benchmarks
• 4–8 years of experience administering DISA ACAS
• 4–8 years of experience with DISA Endpoint Security Solutions (Trellix) or HBSS
• 4–8 years of hands-on experience with securing Windows and Linux systems
• Experience implementing RMF security controls and related NIST overlays
• Active DoD 8140/8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or higher
• Familiarity with RMF artifact deliverables and CS system survivability

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of current and emerging cyber threats and assess impact on systems
• Analyze threats, determine risk, and develop COAs to mitigate threats
• Develop procedures to counter/mitigate cyber threats for ground and space systems
• Assist with recovery planning to restore operations after incidents
• Apply cyber and systems engineering expertise to missions and TTPs
• Assess software/hardware behavior after system modifications
