Job summary

Qualifications

• Current junior graduating December 2027 or May 2028, or current sophomore graduating December 2028 or May 2029.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Available for full internship dates: May 27, 2027–August 6, 2027.
• Curious and analytical mindset.
• Desire to learn and grow in cybersecurity.
• Customer-focused orientation.
• Familiarity with OS, applications, and security concepts in at least two cybersecurity domains.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux troubleshooting principles.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, NAT, TCP/UDP, HTTP, SMTP, DNS.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a paid 10-week cybersecurity internship.
• Monitor and analyze events from SOC intake sources (SIEM, ticketing systems, email, chat, phone).
• Conduct initial event discovery, triage, and response per SOPs.
• Provide tier-one operational and analysis support for security incidents and outages.
• Monitor security dashboards and process events.
