Job summary

Kraft Kennedy is seeking an entry-level, part-time paid internship in cybersecurity and security operations. You will work security-related tickets, assist senior analysts with investigations and response tasks, and follow SOC workflows in a real-world managed security services environment.

The role offers exposure to security tooling and processes, with a Monday-Friday schedule 8:30 am to 2:30 pm ET, and is remote for candidates in specified states.

Qualifications

• Rising junior or senior in college pursuing CS/IS/Cybersecurity.
• Related major such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational habits and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of security concepts such as phishing, malware, authentication.

Responsibilities

• Learn client environments and security tools used to protect them.
• Monitor, triage, and escalate security alerts under guidance.
• Assist with incident handling and investigations in SOC.
• Document findings and actions clearly in the ticketing system.
• Support cloud and on-premise security technologies in enterprise environments.
